After considering other instate options, Newsome High School Tackle Chaz Hine has decided to accept the Bulls offer to come to USF as a preferred walk on.
"This is where I always wanted to go all along. This is something I want to be part of."
Hine had offers from Southern Illinois, Charleston Southern, and the Citadel, and considered FAU and FIU the last few weeks before he decided to follow his heart and accept the Bulls offer yesterday.

Hine, who stands 6'4 and weighs 295 pounds is quite the physical specimen being named to class 4A All-State second team, and also the Tribune's All-Hillsborough County first-team this season.
"I talked to Coach Simmonds the new o-line coach, and
told him I was ready to accept the offer. The funny thing is I didn't know that
I had to tell them by a certain date, so I'm glad I spoke with coach Simmonds
today and got everything straightened out."
Hine has been a familiar face with the Bulls this past year, attending several games, and practices, and the Bulls are happy to have the Mammoth offensive lineman.
"It means a lot when you finally walk down the hallway and tell the big man (Leavitt) that you want to play for him." said coach Simmonds
Hine, who carries a 4.0 GPA and a 1300 SAT score, is 100%
qualified for a Bright Futures scholarship, and said that he can get can
