Once again South Florida is recruiting the Tallahassee area very hard, especially Lincoln High School. One of the powerhouse schools in the area, the Bulls coaching staff has offered a second player from the school. Padric Scott a 6-foot-2, 291pound center has caught the eye of the Bulls staff.

"USF has offered me along with Kentucky and Wake Forest."

Padric says he has three offers but there are several teams showing him interest including Miami, Louisville and Stanford. Most teams are intrigued by his size and quickness, especially his ability to block down field.

"That's something I really work on." Scott added, "I always get down field and finish blocks because you never know when the running back is going to break one. I like contact, I get down and dirty. I love putting the defense in the ground."

His attitude for the game is infectious, Scott is a team leader and he works just as hard in the classroom as he does on the field.

"I have a 4.54 GPA. Academics will probably be the biggest factor in my decision. I want to be a dentist and possibly study chemistry in college."

Another factor is the ability to play near his family.

"Tallahassee is home, but my second home is Miami. Most of my family live there and if I'm not in Tallahassee I'm in Miami."

The Bulls are also in the mix.

"Right now my top 5 looks like Miami, Louisville, Stanford, South Florida and Georgia Tech."

Padric just started spring practice on Tuesday and says he's concentrating on his footwork. This summer he plans on attending the Down & Dirty camp with his teammates. He says he doesn't think he will make any college visits until the fall. Stay with USFNation.com as we follow this monster center through his recruitment.
