Having another defensive line commit for the '08 class would be nice, but the Bulls are going to have to wait a bit longer on defensive tackle Jamarcus Allen from Boone High School in Orlando.
"I am not committed." Says Allen.
There are reports that Allen gave a verbal commitment to the Bulls recently, however he says it's a misunderstanding.
"I talked to some people yesterday and told them I really liked USF and was leaning toward the Bulls, but I never said that I was committed."
Allen said that the South Florida coaching staff made a great impression on him while he participated in the USF Senior Showcase camp.
"I really like USF. They are in my top three with Virginia Tech and North Carolina. In September I will make my final decision."
To clarify things, Allen said he has not spoke with any USF staff member in two weeks - since leaving the Showcase Camp.
Check back with USFNation as we follow Jamarcus as he gets ready to make his decision.
