Streeter expecting an in-home visit this week

4-Star WR Tommy Streeter already has an official visit set with USF for late January. Now find out if the South Florida coaches will make an in-home visit this week. Only on USFNation.com!

Everyone knows Tommy Streeter is one of the top wide receivers in the state, but who knew he could also play tight end? That's just what he did in last week's playoff game.

"There are a couple formations we run that I play on the line as a tight end." Adding, "I also played out wide and caught 4 passes and a touchdown."

Next week Northwestern faces South Dade on their quest to get back to the championship. As for recruiting, things have begun to heat up a bit.

"I still only have one visit set (South Florida), but this week Coach Gilespie from South Carolina is coming down for an in-home visit. I don't have a date set with South Carolina so we'll probably do that while he's here."

"I know Coach (Larry) Scott from USF is down in Miami this week, I'm not sure if he's going to come to my school or house. He'll probably stop by also."

Streeter tells USFNation that he hasn't got real serious about recruiting yet, but while watching some football over the past couple weeks he knows what type of offense he wants to play in.

"I want to play in a spread offense." Said Streeter, "I was watching a Texas Tech game and I got a chance to see the spread offense and the way they throw the ball around, I really like that."

Besides visiting South Florida and South Carolina, Tommy has already taken one visit to Boston College and says he might take one to Miami.

"I thought about setting a visit there, but I went to three of their home games this year so I'm not sure."

Another team who could get in the mix is Florida State, Streeter says the coaches have picked up their recruitment.

"They call me and I even heard that E.J. Manuel is trying to get me to go there."

"We'll see what happens. For now I'm just thinking about playing South Dade this week and getting back to states."
