A month ago Kion Wilson and teammate Theo Wilson made an official visit to South Florida and the duo committed to the Bulls while in Tampa. Both seemed content in their decision, until last weekend.
It was reported that Kion made a surprise visit to the campus of the Louisville Cardinals. Has Kion Wilson's commitment to the Bulls changed?
"My visit went pretty good. They got real nice facilities and the coaches were great."
So does this mean that Kion will open things up?
"I enjoyed the visit, but I'm set on South Florida. I was invited to go on the visit to Louisville, I kept my word, but that's it."
A graduate of Jacksonville Raines, Wilson committed to Illinois but never played due to academics. He is now looking forward to getting back into division one football with the Bulls, and plans on being enrolled at USF this spring with two years of eligibility.
"I've got my exams coming up, I've been working hard to get through it. I'm ready to be done, get my degree and enroll at South Florida at the beginning of January."
This past season Kion has recorded 98 tackles, 7 TFL's, 1 sack, and 2 forced fumbles. In 2006 as a freshman, he racked up 117 tackles, 2 INT's, 6 sacks and a defensive touchdown.

Kion Wilson's status has been changed to ‘soft verbal'. Scout has a policy stating that any commit that takes a visit will be changed to ‘soft'. I agree with this, and since Kion told me he's "pretty sure" he won't take any more visits I am going to leave it as is until I am sure he's done. Regardless of any visits he takes, Kion fully intends to enroll at USF and I would be shocked if anything changes from now till early Jan
How Strong is Kion's Commitment to USF?
