"I'm doing a lot of thinking right now." Said Liuget
"This visit changed my whole outlook on USF and everything. I'm confused with this whole recruiting thing."
In October when Liuget made his commitment to Illinois, everything looked simple, but now he says it's not so clear.
"Everyone at USF had great things to say. Now it's up to me to make a decision. It's a big decision too, it will effect my life forever and I want to make sure I do the right thing."
What was it that opened him up to USF?
"Talking with Coach Leavitt and Coach Scott. The things he was telling me, about how they need me to complete their defensive line."
Corey says all along the coaches said "just come in and see what USF has to offer", and that's just what he did. Now the pass-rushing D-end will have a tough choice on signing day.
Liuget said that spending time with George Selvie was one of the highlights from his trip.
"George was a great guy, nice character. We got a long great."
"We just chilled and talked a lot. We talked about how they have a shortage of defensive lineman and how I can come in and make a difference on the Dline."
Location will not be a factor for Liuget, he said he's willing to play anywhere in the country as long as he can have fun and play football.
