Armwood's Petey Smith is one of the area's best athletes and also one of nation's top junior linebackers. At 6-foot 240 pounds, Smith shocks scouts with his speed at his size, and is a top target of the Bulls.
The two-time All-State, 4-star linebacker has already picked up offers from, Florida, FSU, Miami, LSU, USF and Ohio State among others.
As a junior, the 6-foot, 245 pound backer suffered a bladder infection and underwent two abdominal surgeries, forcing him to miss five games, but still finished with 70 tackles and returned a fumble recovery for a touchdown against Plant in the playoff win. Even after missing five games, smith was still named First team All-County and Third team All-State.
