"I'm already committed to LSU" Said Henry Orelus, "I gave them a verbal commitment, but I'm still planning on taking all my visits and seeing what is out there."
This seems like a recruiting update you might read in December, not in late February. Henry says that he committed to LSU on signing day to "kinda take some of the pressure of". How solid that commitment is, is another question. The offers are still coming, he's got plenty including Tennessee, Auburn and LSU. There are a number of teams that are close to offering.
"I get letters every day from UF, UM, FSU and USF. I think USF is close to offering."
The 6-foot-3, 295 pound Big Man from Glades Central is being recruited by coach Mike Simmonds. He says the Bulls staff has been on him for a couple months. Like most teams they are recruiting him as a Center/Guard.
"I got quick feet, fast off the ball, I'm a hard worker and I'm working this off season on getting stronger and faster."
Henry already knows what schools he wants to take official visits to next fall.
"I'm going to take visits to USF, Florida, Auburn, Tennesse and Florida State."
He also says he probably won't visit LSU because he's already been there once on an unofficial visit. There are a few factors that will ultimately play a role in where Orelus winds up.
"Playing time is important to me, I want to compete early on. I'll be looking at the depth charts as well as a schools academics."
Stick with USFNation for more updates on Henry Orelus. This should be an interesting recruitment.
