Armwood FS Visits USF, Again

On Saturday USFNation noticed Armwood standout Angelo Hadley on the sidelines of the Bulls morning practice. Afterwards we caught up with the 5'11 safety to get his thoughts on USF, what visits he's going to take and the chance of all three Armwood prospects signing with the Bulls on National Signing Day. Read on for the entire interview, only on!

There are a few recruits that have become regulars around the South Florida campus, one of them is Angelo Hadley who USFNation spotted at Saturday's practice. Hadley is a safety prospect from Armwood who was offered early on by the Bulls staff, he's on the Hot 20 and is one of the top prospects in the Bay Area.

Last season Angelo finished his junior season (13-1) with 94 tackles (22 in one game), three picks, three fumbles caused, three fumbles recovered and one defensive touchdown. Hadley says he can bench press 300-pounds and squat 365. He has a 34-inch vertical and runs track (10.7 100m, 22.4 200m).

"I was out at USF for the spring, but there's nothing like the fall. There is a lot of excitement out here."

The Bulls are one team among many who have offered the 5-foot-11, 190 pound safety. He also has offers from UF, Auburn, UNC, Michigan, Illinois and Tennessee to name a few.

"South Florida is an up and coming program and I'm looking forward to seeing what they do this season."

A final decision on which college Angelo will attend won't come till the end of the season. He and his teammates Mywan Jackson and Ryne Giddins are being recruited by big time colleges across the country. What are the odds that all three could sign with Bulls in February?

"Yeah, there is a possibility we could be wearing Green and Gold, that would be fun." Hadley said with a laugh.

"We all like USF, we have choices to make and we are all looking hard at USF. We have to make sure we make the right decision."

Although he doesn't have a favorite Angelo did name a few schools he'd like to take official visits to.

"Nothing is set up yet, but there are a couple schools I want to see Georgia, North Carolina, Auburn, USF, Florida and Michigan."

This year's season opener for Armwood is on the road September 5th against rival Plant High School. Angelo says the team is getting ready for the season to start and can't wait to hit the field to play Aaron Murray and company.

"Before the season starts I'm going to try and make it to one more USF practice and then I'm sure I'll be on the sidelines for some games."

Angelo Hadley claims a 2.6 core GPA and an 18 on his ACT. USFNation will be at the Plant/Armwood game and have a full report after the September 5th match-up.
