Big Win Vaults Bulls to No. 10 in Both Polls

The Bulls continue their climb and moved up four spots to No. 10 in the USA Today/Coaches poll, and also climbed three spots at No. 10 in the AP poll that was released today. The Bulls are now the highest ranked team in Florida with the Gators dropping out ofthe top ten.

The Bulls made a statement when they traveled to Raleigh and routed NC State 41-10. They played the way they should have came away with a convincing win. Poll voters thought the same as the Bulls moved up to No. 10 in both polls Sunday.

The Bulls continue their climb and moved up four spots to No. 10 in the USA Today/coaches poll with Ohio State, and also climbed three spots to sit alone at No. 10 in the AP poll that was released today. The Bulls are now the highest ranked team in Florida with the Gators dropping to 12/13.

This is the second time USF has cracked the top 10for consecutive years in a row. The Bulls climbed all the way to No. 2 last year but then lost three straight.

The Big East has two ranked teams, with Connecticut making its debut in both polls. The Huskies (5-0) are ranked No. 24 in the AP poll and No. 23 in the coaches' rankings. West Virginia had a top 10 ranking before losing to East Carolina in Week 2.

For their next challenge USF will face Pitt to open the BIG EAST portion of the schedule on Thursday night at 7 p.m.
