Kamran Joyer (6'2, 315) Wesley Chapel HS, 3-Star #48 OG; He committed to the Bulls on July 21, shortly after being offered by Coach Leavitt. Joyer was hosted by Bulls RG Zach Herman during the weekend.

How was your overall visit?
"It was good, I really enjoyed it. I got to meet everybody, see everything, and ate a lot of good food."

What was your favorite part?
"My favorite part was hanging out with the players, especially the offensive lineman."

How did your meeting go with Coach Leavitt?
"My meeting with Coach Leavitt went great, he told me to keep working on my snapping so I can be ready to play when I get there."

What was it like being with all the other recruits & commits on the visit?
"It felt pretty good seeing all of them, and getting to know them. There was a lot of excitement about the future."

Did the visit reassure you on your choice?
"Yeah, it really did, I'm ready to strap on the pads and get out there."

What was your highlight of the visit?
"Everything was great. My favorite part was meeting all the coaches again and make sure I made the right choice. I was a bit nervous before, but after seeing all the coaches, meeting the players and really seeing the school and campus, I'm definitely glad I decided to go to South Florida."

Did you get to bond with the other recruits on the visit?
"Yeah, I talked with most of them. I also got along real well with my roommate McGhin, and we're probably going to be roommates when we get to campus."

How was it being with all the defensive line commits that were there?
"That was real cool. We talked about coming in together next year and measured each other up. We all got similar builds and it should be a good competition this summer, and the next five years."

How do you feel now that you're going to be a Bull?
"I'm excited and looking forward to getting there this summer and compete."

How was your overall weekend visit?
"Man, it was the best trip I've ever taken. We ate at the best restaurants and I learned a whole lot more about all the players and the coaches"

What did you learn about them?
"After talking with all the players, I learned a lot about them, and they told me more about Coach Simmonds. He's a great coach, easy going and really good with his players. Coach Canales spent a lot of time with us and it was great seeing all of them again."

Did you get a chance to bond with some of the players?
"Yeah I did especially the O-line, there all great guys. Also Chaz and me are both very similar. We're both focused on education and we got a long real well."

Did you get to bond with the other recruits on the visit?
"I met all of them, but can't remember all of their names. We got a real solid looking class coming in for next year. I also got real close with my roommate Luke Sager. "

How did your meeting go with Coach Leavitt?
"It went well. He told me I have the opportunity to start because they graduated 4 offensive linemen and there are a lot of positions that are wide open. If I get there and work my but off, I can get one of those slots."

What were your highlights of the weekend?
"I'd have to say all the restaurants we went to. We went to Bush Gardens, the Columbia, Jacksons, and all the food was excellent. Everywhere we went the view was the best I ever seen. The whole trip was a big old feeding frenzy."

"That's hard to say, we did a lot of stuff. Well I loved all the food, obviously eating was one of my favorites. But going out at night with all the players and other recruits was probably my favorite part. Also watching the highlight videos and going on the tour of the facilities really got me excited. I know USF has a real good strength and conditioning program, and that got me all pumped up to get in there. I can't wait to put the pads on, and I think I'm going to go work out right now.""
