WR Griffin Will Choose Between USF & Purdue

Sterling Griffin got his first offer from the Bulls back in March, since then he's collected about a dozen more. But it will all come to an end next week when he chooses between USF and Purdue, see what the Miami Pace WR has to say about both schools in this exclusive interview. Only on USFNation.com!

Miami Pace WR Sterling Grffin knows he has a tough decision to make before Signing Day next Wednesday. He tells USFNation that he's narrowed his list down to two schools.

"It's between USF and Purdue" Said Griffin.

Last week it looked like Auburn might jump in the picture, but a visit for this weekend never came to fruition.

"No I didn't make the visit. The coaches were talking about either this weekend or next. It didn't happen this weekend, I don't know about next. It's not a big deal, it will be USF and Purdue at the end."

Both USF and Purdue are in hot pursuit of the 6-foot wide receiver, there have been plenty of visits by both schools over the last few weeks.

"I saw both schools last week and this week Coach Scott is coming by and so is the head coach from Purdue."

With his visits complete, for the most part, when can we expect a commitment from Sterling?

"Well I know I don't have long!" Griffin said with a laugh, "I guess I'll just wait till signing day to announce it."

Here are Griffins thoughts on each team:

Purdue: I like the new staff that they are bringing in. I like the offense they run and they lost 5 receivers last year. I got a good chance to play early.

USF: They play in the Big East and have a 1 in 8 chance every year to win the Big East and play in a BCS bowl. I like that the WR coach, Coach Canales might be the OC, that's real good for me. He really likes me a lot and that could be good if he's the OC.

USFNation.com will talk with Sterling at the end of the week to see if he's going to make the trip to Auburn.
