Brandon Wilkinson, a 6-foot-4.5, 225-pound defensive end from Venice high school has decided to play his college ball for the University of South Florida.
Brandon Wilkinson received the offer from USF after visiting last week, and committed after visiting a second time this Friday.
It is Wilkinson's all around athleticism that has attracted schools to check him out. He has a great first step for his size and is a tremendous athlete. He had over 10 offers including Purdue, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, Minnesota, Indiana, Wake Forrest and Duke, before choosing the Bulls.
Wilkinson had a tremendous junior campaign with 70 tackles, 15 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries and was named Second Team 5A All-State The 6'4.5, 225 pound athlete played Defensive End as a junior after having been a Tight End as a sophomore where he caught 11 balls for over 200 yards and flashed some big time potential.
