Bellevue kicker still weighing options

Dawgman.com caught up with Sean Douglas Saturday evening, and the 6-1, 190-pound Douglas let us know the latest with regards to his recruitment. He didn't go to Kansas this weekend, and still has visits set up with Nebraska-Omaha on the 24th Nebraska-Lincoln the 31st. Nebraska-Omaha is currently Sean's only offer.

"They don't know their situation with scholarships, so that's why I'm going up later," Sean said about the Cornhuskers' situation. "That's when they'll know They are cutting it pretty close."

And the Huskies? "They don't know their situation with scholarships yet either," he said. "They are kind of talking to me on a week-to-week basis. Coach (Chuck) Heater came by my house yesterday and my folks asked him questions that they didn't ask on the trip. We didn't talk about an offer."

And a best case scenario for Douglas? "I don't really know right now," he said. "I would be nice if they (UW and Nebraska) did offer, but then I would have to decide whether or not I would want to go to school way out there or stay closer to home and go to school here. I would have to sit down with my parents and talk about it."
