The No. 21 University of South Florida football team is hosting undefeated and No. 8/9 ranked Cincinnati for a Thursday night BIG EAST Conference showdown at Raymond James Stadium in front of a primetime audience on ESPN. Both teams are coming off a bye week and are 5-0 and 1-0 in BIGEAST play. UC has won the past three meetings in the series. Cincinnati enters with the No. 4 ranked scoring offense (42.0ppg) in the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision while USF features the No. 5 ranked scoring defense (9.4 ppg). The Bearcats lead the nation in tackles for a loss and sacks, averaging 10.0 stops per game behind the line of scrimmage and 4.2 quarterback sacks per game.
