The USF Bulls finished 2-1 at the Charleston Classic by beating UNC-Wilmington, 74-66, in the consolation game of the tournament.
USF was led by junior Dominique Jones, who tallied 28 points with a career-high six assists and a career high 6 steals. Augustus Gilchrist, who was held scoreless in the first half finished with 14points and 6 rebounds. Jarrid Famous had 13 points, 4 rebounds and a block. Freshman Toarlyn Fitzpatrick tied Gilchrist with a team-high six rebounds, and also had 2 blocks, one steal, and one assist.
USF now returns home for its next five games, beginning Wednesday against Kent State at 7 p.m. followed by FAU on Nov. 27 and Hampton on Wednesday, Dec. 2.
