Early last week Todd Chandler the 3-star defensive tackle out of Miami Northwestern switched his last visit from FSU to South Carolina. However Chandler canceled his visit to Columbia, SC and decided to take an official visit to Tampa instead.

Chandler did in fact visited USF this past weekend, and the visit went very well. Afterwards Chandler didn't answer phone calls but had this recording on his voice Mail:

"This is Todd Chandler Miami Northwestern. If this is a reporter, I won't be answering any phone calls or doing any interviews until signing day. My recruiting process is over. I've narrowed it down to South Florida, Louisville, Syracuse and Colorado State. Thank you for your time."

However I did reach Chandler shortly after and he told me he wasn't going to do any interviews but talked to me briefly anyways about his weekends visit.

"The visit went great," said Chandler. "I had a real good time."

During his weekend visit to Tampa Chandler got shown around the campus, saw the stadium and the facilities, met with college advisors, ate at a lot of great places and got to hang out with all the players and other recruits. Chandlers host for the weekend was USF linebacker Sabbath Joseph, who's another Miami product.

"Everything was real nice," said Chandler. "I liked the players, and felt comfortable with them."

Chandler got to meet new Head coach Skip Holtz and said he likes Coach Scott and Coach Patrick and has a good relationship with USF Coach Larry Scott who has been recruiting him since his ninth grade year.

"I liked coach Holtz, and Coach Scott is just great," said Chandler. "I like all the coaches over there a lot."

Chandler wouldn't tip his hat as to who he was favoring and reiterated that it will be between South Florida, Louisville, Syracuse and Colorado State.

Chandler plans to announce his decision Wednesday at 9:00 am at his school.

Stay tuned with USFNation as we follow Todd Chandlers decision and the rest of the 2010 recruiting class.
