Trevarris Saulsberry is a 6-foot-4 ½, 265 pound defensive lineman that plays for State runner-up Gainesville HS. The 3-star prospect plays is ranked the No. 86 best DE by Scout.com but also plays DT and TE, registering 50 tackles, four sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumbles recovered, earning second Team All State DL for 4A classification.
This past Saturday he was one of the top defensive line prospects at the USF SuperBull, and afterwards talked with USFN in this video exclusive about his camp experience, his leaders, and who's on top, and when he will make his choice.
"I liked the camp a lot," said Saulsberry. "I got to learn how the coaches coach, also got to learn how to open my hips, So I learned some new things. It was a lot of fun. I was hoping to do some one on ones, and get to know the coaches better, I love Coach Patrick, he's my buddy."
Saulsberry has accumulated 11 offers this spring from schools like USF, Oregon, Michigan State, Syracuse, Iowa State, UCF, Syracuse, Marshall, Troy and FIU, and told USFN that he now has a list of favorites
"My favorites right now in order are USF, Michigan State, Syracuse, and Oregon," said Saulsberry.
The stand-out defensive lineman talks about what puts the Bulls at the top of the list.
"The coaching staff, I just love the coaches, and the coaching staff is amazing," said Saulsberry. "Coach Holtz is a cool man, Coach Patrick, and Coach Hargreaves. They're very easy to get to know."
"Everything is real nice, the best campus that I've been to so far, everything looks brand new to me."
Saulsberry said next on tap for him is the Tennessee camp later this month and then he's done. He also said that he doesn't plan on waiting until the end to make his decision.
"I want to make my choice by the end of the summer, just to get it out of the way," said Trevarris. "I'm looking at the defense they run, how the coaches coach, and if they have a good pharmacy program."
