"It was real good and I had a real nice time," said Davis. "I got some good work in and got to meet with Coach McGeoghan and got to work with him. It was all real good."
The standout receiver said he was impressed with some of the quarterbacks that were at the camp.
The standout wide receiver talked about how he performed during the camp.
"I caught the ball well, ran good routes, nice crisp routes, got in and out of my breaks, showed good agility, all of that good stuff," said Davis. I think I did pretty good out there."
The Scout.com 300 wide receiver said he enjoyed being on the field with the USF coaches and they seemed impressed with him.
"Coach McGeoghan loved it, and said he just loves to see me work, and all that," said Davis
Davis has around 15 scholarship offers, and last week trimmed his list down to seven schools, Florida State, South Florida, Texas Tech, Miami, Kansas, West Virginia, and Rutgers. And talks about what keeps USF as one of his top choices.
"Just the coaching, I love the coaching," said Davis. "Coaching, and the fact that I may be able to get on the field early. They also have my major, business management, so it's all good."
Davis said he plans on being busy with 7-on-7 camps over the past month and is eying Jefferson's return to the Sling and Shoot Tourney at the end of the month.
"We got this national 7-on-7 coming up at our school July 6th & 7th, so I'll be doing that, and if we move on then we have the next part at our school also. After that I'll turn around and be coming back here ready for the Sling & Shoot, second session."
