Wall is a blue-chip offensive lineman himself, having turned down more than a dozen scholarship offers when he pledged to the Mustangs.
"I had a couple of schools that continued recruiting me after I committed to SMU," Wall said, "and they said that they were going to come watch me play this season. They didn't do that, but it wouldn't have mattered.
"I'm 100% fully committed to SMU and nothing will change that."
Fort Bend Travis is 4-4 (3-2 in district) and the Tigers are on a two-game winning streak after topping Dulles and Austin.
"Our defense has been kicking butt and our offense has been decent," said Wall. "Our offense has been doing what it takes to win.
"Our next game is in two weeks against Bush (6-1, 3-1). I don't really know much about them yet, but many of our players were on the same middle school team as their players. The two schools are located close together."
