"I'm taking that visit to SMU this weekend and I'm going to Michigan on December 10th," said Richardson. "Basically, they've (the SMU staff) been telling me the same thing since day one, and that is that I have a really good chance of competing for a starting spot.
"And, yes it's an official visit. I'm going with my family, and they say Nyle Johnson is coming as well."
Central advanced to the first-round of the Class 5A playoffs this year before getting eliminated by New Iberia Senior High last Friday.
Ironically, New Iberia's next opponent is SMU commit Jermaine Sams and undefeated St. Paul's.
