5 Questions with Adams

With six offers in the bag and more likely to come, Scout.com 3-star running back Ishmael Adams from Oak Christian (Westlake Village, CA) talked with Scout.com on where his recruitment stands at this point.

Been a while since we talked, how is recruiting going right now?

"I'm have a few offers, but I'm just gradually letting it come to me right now, I'm talking to a lot of schools and starting to make some visits to colleges. So, my recruitment is really going good right now. "

Last time we talked, you weren't sure on when you would be making a decision? Anymore thoughts on the subject?

"Right now, I'm thinking I'm going to wait until after the season. I'm going to be talking with my uncle and Keyshawn Johnson about my decision. They are guiding me through the process, but are leaving it all up to me. But I'm going to need some time. They are telling me that I have to feel absolutely comfortable first and foremost."

Where does SMU fall into your recruitment right now?

"It's sometime hard to look at them, because I'm getting attention from all the schools I ever dreamed of going to, but they were on me from the beginning. I have to remember that. They put me on the market. Not everyone was willing to take a look at me and they did. They have stuck by me this whole time. So, I'm still giving them a look. I need to possibly visit with Jordan (Payton) or something like that. "

Jordan is visiting at the end of the month, have you guys talked about your recruitment a lot with each other?

"Jordan and I are really close and have talked about being teammates possibly at the next level. We just are really close, so we will talk about it more I'm sure."

What will be the biggest thing that goes into your decision?

"I'm not even sure yet. There are so many things players have to worry about; I'm just going to talk with teammates and my brother, to see what he liked in his school. The coaches, my major, campus life, it's going to all be important. Everything will factor into my decision. "
