"Coach (Jim) Turner at Texas A&M wants me to go visit there, but I have the Under Armour Combine in Texas on the same day. I've also been invited to Princeton's Junior Day."
What else is happening with Landor's recruitment?
"It's been picking up a little," he said. "Coach (Michael) Norvell at Pittsburgh is interested in (teammate) Lamar Louis and me. Tulsa says they might offer, and I've heard that I'm on UL's board for an offer. I'm also hearing from Oregon, Colorado, and Minnesota."
Landor visited UL's campus yesterday to watch the Cajuns practice.
"It looks like they're already turning things around," he said. "They look better in the spring than they did in the regular season last year under Coach (Rickey) Bustle. I don't know if (Houston transfer and Capitol grad) Terrance Broadway will be eligible this year, but he's the real deal."
Landor attended the Cajuns' practice with Louis and UL signee Montrel Carter, who will graduate soon from Cecilia (which is a district rival of Teurlings Catholic). Louis, in fact, received a UL offer yesterday evening.
Last year, Landor propelled the No. 20 seeded Rebels to an appearance in the Class 4A semifinals. He won the QB MVP at the recent Baton Rouge National Underclassmen Combine.
Over the past 12 months, the junior have shaved considerable time off his 40-yard dash. He was clocked at 4.55 at the NUC.
