California offensive lineman Beau Boyster has received his first major BCS offer.

"I just wanted to let you know that I received an offer from Arizona today," said Boyster in a message to Scout.com. "I am really excited about the offer because I would be close to my family.

"To be honest, I was not really expecting it. This definitely puts Arizona on the top of my list."

At 6-foot-4, 285 pounds, the St. John Bosco product projects by Scout.com's Brandon Huffman as either a right guard or tackle at the next level. Boyster is solid in pass protection.

He's also being recruited by a handful of other Pac-12 schools, SMU, and Nevada.
