SMU Injury Report (10/19)

With a tough two-game conference road stretch coming up, the Mustangs need everyone 100 percent healthy. But there are a few with nagging injuries that could be detrimental to the depth chart.

-Cole Beasley did not practice Tuesday or Wednesday. Tuesday June Jones said that his star wide receiver would practice the rest of the week, but his knee has obviously been bothering him as he was in street clothes in a knee brace today.

Beasley sprained tissue near his MCL and ACL against Memphis, forcing him to miss the TCU game. The Mustangs had a bye week after that where he rehabbed like crazy in order to be ready for UCF.

Beasley was not 100 percent, but he played last weekend, recording 10 catches for 134 yards and a touchdown. His status is unknown for this week at Southern Miss.

-Richard Crawford, who returned three punts for 141 yards and a touchdown against UCF, was limping today.

-Jay Scott, who got a little banged up against TCU, practiced without pain for the first time since.
