Men's basketball signs three 3-star recruits

Matt Doherty has snagged three impressive three-star recruits to make up his 2012 class. Guard Brian Bernardi, center Blaise Mbargorba and forward Uche Ofoegbu all signed National Letters of Intent this week.

SMU men's basketball has signed three impressive recruits for their 2012 class.

Brian Bernardi, a three-star, 6-foot-3 guard from Xaverian (New York), Blaise Mbargorba, a three-star 7-foot center from The Peddie School (Hightstown, NJ) and Uche Ofoegbu, a three-star 6-foot-6 forward from John Paul Stevens (San Antonio) have all signed National Letters of Intent.

"This is a fantastic recruiting class," coach Matt Doherty said. "I am excited about the quality of these young men. This class will excel in our system and add to the foundation that we have built. This will translate into success for years to come."
