Weekend visitors

This weekend is crucial for SMU as 13 commits and prospects from the 2012 class come to campus for their official visit. Six players have solid commitments to the Mustangs, but there are seven athletes coming who still haven't made their decision yet.

4-star WR Gabriel Marks, Venice Senior High (Los Angeles, Calif.)

2-star WR Daijuan Stewart, West Saint Mary HS (Baldwin, La.)

Open:

3-star WR Chris Harper, Crespi Carmelite HS (Encino, Calif.) –likely to commit this weekend

3-star CB Raymond Ford, Junipero Serra HS (Gardena, Calif.) –recently decommitted from UCLA; likely to commit to SMU this weekend

4-star OT Jake Meador, Whiteland Community HS (Whiteland, Ind.) –likely to commit this weekend

3-star LB Thomas Brown Junipero Serra HS (Gardena, Calif.) –between SMU and Nebraska

4-star OG Lacy Westbrook, Dominguez HS (Compton, Calif.) –currently committed to UCLA

3-star WR Gehrig Dieter, Washington HS (South Bend, Ind.) –taking official visit to Oregon next weekend

3-star SS Kenny Orjioke, Lassiter HS (Marietta, Ga.) –same high school as solid SMU 2013 commit, QB Eddie Printz
