Palacio still committed to SMU for now

Despite all the moving and shaking that's been going on at SMU lately with June Jones and Adrian Klemm, Kache Palacio is still committed to the Mustangs. However, he did say that he is going to schedule a visit to UCLA now that Klemm is there.

As of right now, Kache Palacio is still committed to SMU.

The problem is, no one from the current staff has reached out to the three-star outside linebacker from Junipero Serra High School (Gardena, Calif.) since the June Jones-Arizona State mess and Adrian Klemm's move to UCLA.

Palacio said that Klemm has called his dad, but that he hasn't heard from the Mustangs coaching staff.

Asked if he'll look at UCLA now that Klemm is there, Palacio said "Yeah." Plus Gardena is only about a 30-minute drive from campus.

"I'm planning on visiting, but I haven't scheduled a visit yet," Palacio said.

Palacio was recruited by ASU, Cal, Oregon State, UCLA, USC and Washington, but only received one offer from SMU, so that is where he is committed to right now unless something else happens.

Playing for Jones was a big reason why Palacio said he committed to SMU in the first place, but that "Adrian Klemm had a lot to do with it, too."
