Different numbers, stats to keep in mind when SMU takes on Pitt in the BBVA Compass Bowl this Saturday at 12 p.m. CT.

56 – the number of sacks Pitt's offensive line has given up this season. The most in the country and 15 more than any Big East school.

10 – the number of touchdowns and interceptions Pitt quarterback Tony Sunseri had this year. Pitt has the second-worst turnover margin in the Big East and has turned the ball over 20 times (seven fumbles, 13 interceptions).

14.4 – the number of yards per catch wide receiver Devin Street gets a game.

419 – most amount of yards Sunseri threw in one game this season (against UConn). SMU quarterback' J.J. McDermott's highest was 358 against UCF.

107 – the number of tackles Panthers linebacker Max Gruder has accumulated this season, the most on his team. Taylor Reeds leads all Mustangs with 93.

89 – the combined number of field goals (19) and extra points (32) Pitt's leading scorer, kicker Kevin Harper, has made this year.

30 – the number of years since Pitt has been to a major bowl. The Panthers played SMU in the 1982 Cotton Bowl and the Mustangs came out on top, 7-3.

33.5 – Pitt's percentage on third down conversions, which is the second-worst in the Big East.

10 – the number of sacks Pitt defensive lineman Aaron Donald had this season, the second-most in the Big East, eighth-most in the country.

30.55 – average number of yards running back Zach Brown gains a game.
