Football season opener to air on national TV

Fox Sports Net has selected SMU's season opener against Baylor to air on national TV. To accommodate the broadcast, kickoff has been moved to to Sunday, Sept. 2 at 5:30 p.m. CT.

SMU's 2012-13 season opener against Baylor will be televised by Fox Sports Net and has been moved to Sunday, Sept. 2 with a 5:30 p.m. CT kickoff.

SMU enters the 2012 season on the heels of a third straight bowl berth and a 28-6 thumping of Pitt in the BBVA Compass Bowl.

More television selections are expected to be announced soon.
