Practice Observations

- The team focused a lot on special teams early. Coach Gansz made getting off blocks a point of emphasis

- Stephen Nelson practiced today after being out for the last two weeks with a cast on his wrist

- Chris Parks sat out practice with a strained hamstring while Cameron Rogers had his arm in a sling

- Ben Gottschalk was a full participant despite being knocked out of the A&M game twice

- With Parks out, Jeremy Gray got the majority of the reps

- Gray made an excellent break on a Garrett Kristich pass but dropped an easy interception

- One play later, Colin LaGasse toasted Gray and made a nice catch

- Speaking of nice catches, Austin Fuller made a one-handed grab and received praise from his teammates

- Garrett Gilbert once again looked accurate today but we have yet to see this translate to field on game days

- It still appears as if there is confusion amongst the receivers, on one play Nelson blocked cornerback Rodney Hubert right into a short pass intended for Jeremy Johnson

- After practice, a few players worked on extra conditioning including Keenan Holman, Gehrig Dieter, and Stavion Lowe

- June Jones ignored media members after practice
