Quick Hits

- Players were in full pads today.

- Traylon Shead, Prescott Line, and Randall Joyner all did rehab and personal drills on the sideline during practice.

-Today was the loudest I'd ever heard June Jones. He was getting on players if they made mistakes, but was also joking around with some of them.

-The wide receivers spent a lot of time on maintaining blocks, especially in the open field.

-The offense was working at a blistering pace. Hal Mumme would signal over the call for the next play before the current one was even over.

-Chris Parks was in full pads and participated in all the drills.

-Jones spent some time with freshman JaBryce Taylor during drills, really trying to make sure he was running routes with the right technique. No doubt Jones sees a lot of potential in Taylor.

-Defensive coordinator Tom Mason was also louder than usual, especially with the first team defense. Coming off giving up 30 points to Montana State, it isn't hard to figure out why.
