Get our immediate reaction following SMU's win inside!

How it happened: SMU dominated McNeese State on both ends of the floor from start to finish tonight. Point guard Nic Moore lead the way with 15 points and three assists on 5 for 5 shooting from deep. Freshman Ben Moore and Keith Frazier also shot the ball well and scored 20 points combined tonight on just 11 shots. As a team, the Mustangs outshot the Cowboys 60 percent to 33 percent from the field and outrebounded them 42 to 25. SMU took advantage of their size and prevented McNeese State from getting into the paint on offense, which led to the Cowboys going two for 19 from deep in the first half. Meanwhile, SMU was 10 for 14 from three-point range and 10 for 13 from the free throw line for the game.

What means: Although the win doesn't mean much for the Mustangs, it was probably their most complete performance of the season. The whole team played well and with great energy although it was their fifth game in nine days.

Side note: The Mustangs remain undefeated at home this season (5-0) and move to 7-2 on the year.

Next: The Mustangs go on the road to take on University of Illinois-Chicago at UIC Pavilion on Wednesday, December 4th. The Flames, members of the Horizon League, are 3-4 this season and currently sit in first place in their conference. They are coming off a 94-76 victory over Wagner last week.
