Quick Hits:

-SMU president R. Gerald Turner spoke to the team in the locker room before film.

-ESPN analyst Fran Fraschilla spoke to the team right as they hit the court. He mentioned that the seniors should be playing their hearts out, while the underclassmen should use it as an experience to motivate themselves for next season.

-The team didn't hit the court until close to 4 p.m. and didn't do much except shootaround.

-The team practiced their zone offense that they'll face against UC-Irvine. It wasn't very fast-paced, but they did a good job of making quick passes.

-When the team was throwing alley oops, coach Brown made it clear that the lobs will have to be higher since UC-Irvine's Mamadou Ndiaye is a towering 7-foot-6.

-Yanick Moreira looked extremely good out there today, moving laterally very well.

-Coach Brown stopped practice constantly to correct the team's little mistakes today.
