Football Practice Notebook (3/19)

We were out at practice today and have an exclusive interview with Conner Preston and notes!

Quick Hits:

-Margus Hunt was out watching practice. He watched the O-line and D-line go against each other and handed out some pointers.

-Rick Hart also showed up towards the end of practice.

-The team worked on stripping the ball for a while. Each player walked through the motions then went full speed.

-K.C. Nlemchi looked very good, catching balls out of the back field and making the defense miss.

-Taylor Lasecki played some right and left guard while Williams Barnes was at center, but after practice he said it's just to get experience if he's needed in an emergency role.

-All of the quarterbacks were a little behind on there throws and multiple times the defense dropped INTs. Jesse Montgomery did have one INT though.

-The defense was very aggressive during 7 on 7s and were batting balls left and right.

-You could see Hayden Greenbauer on the sideline constantly cheering on his defense when they made a good play.

-The quarterbacks didn't throw the deep ball well today.

-Preston didn't receive many reps. Burcham and Cassell got most of them.
