Jackson Mitchell

Quick Hits:

-June did not speak after practice.

-Hayden Greenbauer was Doing some straight running and stretching. Still no cutting.

-Everyone but the offensive line worked on wrapping up and formed tackling. O-line instead worked on Blitz pick-up.

-Starting O and starting D went up against each other.

-Neal Burcham felt the pressure all morning. He struggled at time to make accurate throws and he look nervous in the pocket at times, even dropping a snap.

-Conner Preston and Garrett Krstich split second team reps. Preston's arm looked strong but was inaccurate at times. Kristich also struggled with accuracy.

-Kolney Cassel was inaccurate and struggled at times to keep a tight spiral.

-Overall, the quarterbacks struggled the entire practice. There were a ton of over throws and knuckle balls, and not very many completed passes.

-The defense on the other hand looked very good. They got to the quarterback, deflected passes and came away with 2 Ints.

-Beau Barnes look very strong and quick at the DE position.

-JUCO transfer Caleb Tuiasosopo had a nice interception and saw a good amount of playing time with the first team D. He could lose 5-10 pounds, but overall he looked very solid.
