June Jones Press Conference
Taylor Lasecki Q&A
Ajee Montes Q&A
Q: Talk about your preparation for Baylor, what you guys are doing right now?
AM: We’re preparing very hard, worked hard on everything we did, run to the ball a lot. We’re ready for Baylor.
Q: What is the biggest thing you guys have to do against Baylor?
AM: The biggest thing that we have to do out of the gate is make tackles for sure, don’t bite on play action and cover up well.
Q: Talk about the receiving corps that they have and how you deal with their speed?
AM: They’re a great group, great group of guys and it’s just going to be a fun time, definitely going to be a fun time.
Q: What does Bryce Petty do that makes him so hard to play against?
AM: Bryce Petty is a great quarterback, he’s elusive, he’s a great runner and he can throw the ball on the money so we’re just going to have to stick to our keys and come out strong.
Q: What is the focus now that the offseason is over, and with this upcoming early portion of the schedule?
AM: Well I think we have the best preseason out there, we have Baylor, UNT, A&M, so we’re just going to take it one week at a time and focus on Baylor for this week.
Q: Talk about the crowd noise and that new stadium?
AM: We’re made for the lights, you know what I mean, it’s a great feeling to play in front of a sold out crowd, and that’s what we’re made for.
