The offense practiced inbounding on the baseline, practicing situational basketball. They ran plays designed to get a quick basket in crunch time. They also ran plays that took longer to develop. On those plays, Brown continued to tell the team to take its time until a good shot opened up.
Nic Moore becoming a coach on the floor
Moore has started to be vocal in the last couple weeks. He continues to get more comfortable with it. When he’s not playing, he is right on the sideline talking to his teammates during the play. He tells them his observations and thoughts after the play, like who should be where on a specific play or giving someone a high-five after a good play or mistake.
Justin Martin looking healthy
A day after looking a bit gimpy on dunk attempts, Justin Martin looks more comfortable running and pushing off his ankle. He is running at full speed and getting good height on dunk and layup attempts. He looks comfortable enough to play against Lamar, but his status has not been announced yet.
