Clips: SMU quarterback commit Will Brown at camp

SMU hosted 2018 Lamar Consolidated (Tex.) quarterback Will Brown on campus for the second time in five days when he stopped by for camp. Here are clips of him in action and Scout's take on his performance.

2018 Rosenberg (Tex.) Lamar Consolidated quarterback Will Brown was one of the more high-profile campers for the Mustangs on Tuesday night when he stopped by the Hilltop.

Getting to work with offensive coordinator Joe Craddock and offensive analyst Will Bryant for the majority of the camp, Brown worked fundamentals, threw routes on air and 1-on-1s.

Brown displayed the high release point that we saw from him in Houston and for the most part, threw an accurate, catchable football to receivers. He's got to finish his follow through more consistently to avoid some of the high balls that he threw on Tuesday night, but that will come as Craddock gets more time with him.

He's got natural arm talent that is Power Five level, it's getting the consistency out of it that will be SMU's challenge. He'll enroll early and get a chance to develop before being forced to play. He's got plenty of upside and if he had been healthy his junior year, he might have been a tougher land for SMU.

Watch the above video of clips from Brown's day at SMU's camp. Below are clips that Scout picked up from 7-on-7 in Houston in May.

Stay tuned for Brown's reaction to yet another visit to Dallas on Friday in the Hilltop Review.
