2018 Rosenberg (Tex.) Lamar Consolidated quarterback Will Brown was in Dallas for yet another trip to the Hilltop on Tuesday for SMU's final camp in June.
“The camp was great, gives me a opportunity to work with the best offensive coordinator in the country,” Brown told Scout.
Brown enjoyed the chance to work with his future offensive coordinator Joe Craddock during the camp, who saw improvement out of Brown.
"Overall, I could've did better at the end and be more consistent, but I had a pretty good day,” Brown said. “He told me that every day he sees me I'm getting better and improving at my position.” http://www.scout.com/college/southern-methodist/story/1785554-smu-lands-...
The visit was a surprise for the SMU coaches, who had just seen Brown at another camp of their's just a few days prior.
"He told me that he wasn't expecting me today, I wasn't planning on going back, but I had a teammate that wanted to go to the camp," Brown said.
After multiple trips just in the spring and early part of summer alone, Brown says that after the past few years of visiting SMU, it really does feel like home.
"It feels like I was born in the area, I've been visiting SMU since the beginning of my freshman year."
The 6-4, 205-pound quarterback will be back in Dallas again for the SMU barbecue for recruits in July.
