One of Texas top wide receivers picked up another offer, this time from another instate school.

Stephen F. Austin's Emory Blake confirmed with PonyStampede.com Sunday that he picked up his latest offer from Southern Methodist University last week.

"I got the letter in the mail from SMU last week," Blake said. "I already have offers from Vandy, Arizona, Houston, East Carolina, Tulsa, Texas Tech and Northwestern."

According to Blake, he hasn't had the opportunity to get to know the new SMU coaching staff yet, but is looking forward to the opportunity.

"I want to get to know their coaches better," Blake said. "I love the style of offense they play, that's for sure. I'm looking forward to seeing what each school that is recruiting has to offer. I want to give each school a fair chance at my services."

Blake, a 6-foot-2, 195-pound wide out that runs a 4.4 forty, helped lead his SFA team to an 8-3 overall record while earning All-District honors. In five games, the speedy wide out had over 500 yards and 11 total touchdowns.

"Right now I don't really have a favorite," Blake stated. "I plan on going through the process and see what's the best situation is for me."
