For weeks Southern Methodist University football fans have been wondering who the coaching staff was going to offer at the quarterback position for the 2009 recruiting class.
Everyone got the answer Friday afternoon when Southlake Carroll's Head Coach Hal Wassom confirmed that Dragon signal caller Kyle Padron committed to the Mustangs.
"Kyle just called me a few minutes ago with the good news," Wasson told PonyStampede.com. "He is very excited about going to SMU."
Padron participated in SMU's senior day camp last month and apparently turned in solid performance earning him an offer from the Mustang coaching staff.
Padron makes No. 13 for the Mustangs for its 2009 recruiting class.
