Utah to Dallas Texas is a long trip.
Two Utah high school prospects made the journey to Big D last week to visit Southern Methodist University.
"I loved it," Sofele told PonyStampede.com Tuesday night. "We liked everything about it. The coaching staff, the campus, everything was way more than we expected."
Sofele, a 5-foot-8, 165-pound running back who has 4.4 speed in the forty, rushed for over 2,000 yards and 25 touchdowns for Cottonwood High School. Hosea, who is Sofele's cousin, is a defensive back, both have official offers from SMU.
"They have offered both of us," Sofele said. "We want to go to the same school, whoever gets me will get him also. SMU is definitely one of our top favorites right now."
One major difference between Texas and Utah is the weather.
"We aren't use to the heat in Dallas," Sofele said. "I can see ourselves getting use to it."
