The West Rusk defender has been a solid pledge to the Mustangs since this summer; it appears that the visit to the Hilltop solidified his commitment even further.
"There is no doubt I'm going to SMU," Williams said. "I don't think I'm going to take any other visits, I'm happy with my choice and decision."
Williams's mother accompanied him on the official visit and came away very impressed with SMU and its coaching staff.
"She loved it," Williams said. "She liked everything about SMU, including the coaching staff.",/p>
Williams has been sold on SMU for sometime, but the all state defender admitted the visit made him realize he made the right decision.
"I love it there," Williams said. "Right now I don't plan on taking any other visits, Arkansas is still trying to get me to take an official, but right now I don't think I will."
Williams was impressed with how his future teammates treated him like he was already on the team.
"My host Victor Jones and I got along great," Williams said. "Jones really loves it at SMU."
Williams got a chance to sit down and talk one on one with June Jones.
"Coach Jones kept telling us how happy he was that I was part of his family," Williams said. "You can really tell how much he loves SMU and how focused he is on turning the Mustangs into winners."
