The Mustangs filled up, but June Jones apparently decided to re open the offer, giving the South Texas athlete the break he was hoping for.
"It's great to be a Mustang," Franklin told PonyStampede.com Sunday afternoon. "I loved it there. I really enjoyed my visit a lot. I got a chance to see everything, and got a chance to get to know the players and the coaching staff."
The 6-foot-1, 180-pound wide receiver, runs the forty in 4.46 seconds.According to Franklin, Jones is excited about having the playmaker as a Mustang.
"The coaching staff was very excited about my commitment," Franklin said. "Coach (Jeff) Reinebold has stayed with me throughout the entire process, I'm glad everything worked out like it did."
