Mustangs fans are in shock at the rapid rate that recruiting is going for the 2010 recruiting class. We are now a week away from the camp and the Mustangs just received their 17th commitment in the class. This time from someone who will be looked upon to help the secondary for years to come. Brenham safety Jeremy Hall gave his verbal pledge to June Jones and crew today visiting the Hilltop today.
"I liked the school a lot. They had what I was planning on majoring and that was a major factor for me," stated Hall to PonyStampede.com. "The campus was great. I liked it a lot. The environment was very nice. I talked with Coach Jones and he told me that they were talking about me yesterday and that I would fit in well there."
At 5'10, 190-pounds, Hall had offers also from Louisiana Tech and Louisiana-Monroe.
"I'm just glad that I'm getting this out of the way. I can now focus on school and stuff," said Hall. "I can now focus on getting bigger and faster. I'm really trying to become a leader on the field for my team."
"The class that they are braining in is pretty good. The class they brought in last year is pretty good. I think that it won't take long at all for us to start winning."
Hall (4.5-forty) had six interceptions last season as a junior. The soon to be senior describes himself as a shy player that lets his play on the field talk for himself.
"I would say my strongest asset is helping with the passing game but I can come up and help with the run game as well."
