The 6'4, 300 pound offensive lineman has heard from SMU along with a handful of other schools.
"I'm friends with Coach Klemm on Facebook and know about him. One day he wanted me to call him, but I couldn't because I didn't have any minutes on my phone," said Morales to PonyStampede.com. "The next day he was at my school and I heard he watched my film. He said he liked it a lot, and they invited me to their junior day."
The Dallas Morning News' No. 45 player in DFW, Morales was not able to attend the Mustangs junior day because of prior arrangements.
"I already had a plane ticket to Kansas State, so I had to go there for junior day," said Morales. "I have not heard from Klemm since, so I will email him to see whats up. But yes, I do have have some interest in SMU."
"I just picked up the KSU offer at the junior day. They offered me and my brother (Alfredo Morales). I was really happy. I go to sit down and meet with coach Bill Snyder," stated Morales to Scout.com's Greg Powers in a previous article.
Morales' brother Alfredo, who happens to be his twin and is also a very talented interior line prospect. Tony says that some schools have not been recruiting him as vigorously because they really believe that the brothers are going to be a package deal.
Morales was a 1st team 5A district 4 player last year for the Texans.
