With seven offers now in hand, Pflugerville (TX) Hendrickson running back Kenny Williams has tried to list his favorites, but it's too hard at this point.
"I try to pick a list of favorites every week, but to be honest, every week it changes. I talk with the coaches and do research and it changes, so I haven't really narrowed anything down yet," said Williams to PonyStampede.com.
"I want to see how important academics are to each school, I like to see the offense they run, and learn about the tradition of the school," said the Hendrickson product.
Williams was SMU's first running back offeree in the 2011 recruiting class. Something that has stuck in the mind of the junior.
"They were my first offer, so I really take that into consideration," said Williams. "They have been in my favorites because they have a great engineering program and they are really trying to turn things around there."
"I have been emailing Coach Hill daily. We really stay in touch. I'm actually going to be going down there for another unofficial visit in about a month or so."
Williams rushed for 1,789 yards and 20 touchdowns as a junior last season. He will be visiting Texas Tech this weekend for junior day. He has been described by some scouts as the next Bo Jackson.
PonyStampede.com will stay in contact with the 2011 prospect for any news.
