With time ticking away for the Mustangs to snatch another defensive lineman in the 2010 recruiting class, the importance of a 2011 defensive tackle is becoming greater and greater.
"I know a little about them because of the letters they sent me, but not a whole lot. It's exciting though. It's my first offer. I'm definitely going to do some research and take a visit," said Pichon to PonyStampede.com on Tuesday.
At 6'3, 325 pounds, Pichon is also hearing from LSU, La Tech, Nebraska, and Alabama. On Thursday night, Pichon informed PonyStampede.com on Facebook that he had received his second offer. "La Tech offered me earlier to day."
So what is the junior looking for in a school?
"I want a place where I can really feel at home, but more importantly is playing time. I want to be able to play there," said the 2011 recruit.
The Mustangs could have some tough competition for this Louisiana product. With his size and production last season, Pichon will more than likely get looks this spring and during the early part of next season. It appears that he will not be making a decision anytime soon. Last year, he had self-reported numbers of over 100 tackles and four sacks.
PonyStampede.com will stay in contact with Pichon and let Scout.com members know if anything breaks.
