It's already been a busy spring for Serra (CA) quarterback Conner Preston. Schools like: Nebraska, Tennessee, Colorado, Washington, Oregon State, UCLA, Oregon, Utah, Alabama, Notre Dame have visited the big time passer. On Tuesday, SMU, who has offered, was added to the list.

"Both Coach Morrison and Coach Klemm were there to watch practice. I called both of them afterward," said the junior. "I felt like I was spinning it well. Coach Morrison commented on how quick my release is and how crucial that is in SMU's offense."

The Serra quarterback is not ready to commit anywhere yet, but SMU definitely leads the pack at this point, with Colorado, Toledo and San Jose State being the others to offer.

Preston started all 15 games for the Cavs, rarely finishing any because of so many blowouts, but still put up over 3,500 yards and over 200 yards rushing, and threw 44 touchdown passes in all.
